HAPPY FIRST ANNIVERSARY

A year ago today Matt and i were sealed in the St. George Temple for time and all eternity! What a wonderful blessing it has been to have such a great man in my life.

Last night as Matt and I laid awake in bed chatting we talked about all the different things we had done over the past year of being married. its amazing how much can change in just a year. We have moved across the country, Matt began his Masters program and i got accepted to a program, we have a cat, we've paid off some debt, traveled around the Midwest a bit, i have helped to raise 5 little boys, Matt has been in several productions, and we have just really gotten to know each other and enjoy being around each other even more.

This weekend Matt has taken me on a lovely pick-nick for lunch yesterday as well as to a most delicious fancy restaurant called the Venue for dinner! It was so fancy, i just loved it! We then spent the rest of the day watching one of our favorite movies and enjoying each other and reminiscing over this past year. Today (our official anniversary) we attended church and had a delicious roast and veggie dinner. Then we opened our gifts to each other. I gave Matt a personalized key chain with a picture of our wedding on it. Matt kept with the tradition of the 1st year Anniversary gift which is paper, and he gave me a very sweet hand written love letter. I loved it!

Well here is to another year of fun filled adventures! Something tells me that this next year will bring new experiences we have never faced before!
