Matt's Chamber Choir Concert

October 7,2012

General Conference was wonderful today! Such great inspiring words from so many inspiring men. I can't help but feel so blessed to live in a time when we have living prophets and apostles.

Between sessions Matt had a chamber choir concert. It was my favorite concert of his that i have been to! It was very modern and abstract yet most of the songs sang were dated between the 1500s and the 1800s. It was wonderful! The building they sang in "The Great Hall" was designed after many of the great halls in Europe, like the Cathedrals and such, so the acoustics were so amazing! I can't explain enough how great it was so i included a video so you could hear a sample of it. The video didn't capture the amazing acoustics but it is decent. The song they are singing is called, "Beati Quorum Via" written by Charles Villiers Stanford. The translation is "Blessed are they whose ways are blameless, Who walk in the law of the Lord." This was one of my favorite songs they sang. I hope you all enjoy!
